Symptom

The display reads C72. The Dacor manual labels it a TWI communication error. There has been no contact between the logic board and the relay boards for six seconds or longer.

Sequence in the manual

  1. Both boards go on trying to communicate.
  2. After a minute (60 seconds) the error becomes fatal: the power board resets the logic board repeatedly and the cooling fan goes to high speed.
  3. Nothing on the oven works until contact is back.
  4. When contact returns the oven reboots and is usable again.
